Electrical Requirements

The installation must have a Class A Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI). The GFCI protects against line-to-ground shock hazard. Use a 240V, 15A, 60 Hz dedicated service.

An equipment grounding terminal is provided in the ®eld wiring compartment. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this terminal must be connected to the grounding means provided in the electrical supply panel with a conductor equivalent in size to the circuit conductors supplying this equipment.

Install this unit in accordance with the Canadian Electric code, Part I.
