Enhanced Automatic Image Density Control (eAIDC)

eAIDC means consistent color on every print.

Enhanced Automatic Image Density Control (eAIDC)

From day to day, and from one consumable change to the next, toner density may change, ultimately affecting color consistency. To help maintain color consistency and ensure predictable color without user intervention, the magicolor 5440 DL automatically performs enhanced Automatic Image Density Control (eAIDC).

eAIDC occurs during these states:

‰when the printer is turned on and a temperature or humidity change has occurred

‰at every 10th power up

‰after printing 200 continuous pages (calibrates at the end of the job)

‰after a consumables change

‰when requested from the front panel
