5 Using the Kramer Configuration Manager Software This section describes:
• How to install and run the Configuration Manage r software, see section 5.1
• The Configuration Manager Window features, see section 5.2
5.1 Install ing and Running the Kramer Configuration Manager Sof tware
To install the Kramer Configuration Manager software:
• Insert the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, double click the Setup.exe file
and follow the on-screen instructions
To run the Kramer Configuration Manager so ftware (for the first time):
1. Click the appropriate shortcut in the Start menu’s Programs folder.
The Choose Port window appears as follows:

2. Choose the LAN port for configuration via Ethernet, or the appropriate
COM port for configuration via serial cable (see section 6.1) and click OK.
The FC-1ETHN Configuration Manager window (see Figure 3) opens.
To run the Kramer Configuration Manager soft ware (subsequently):
• Click the appropriate shortcut in the Start menu’s Programs folder.
The FC-1ETHN Configuration Manager window (see Figure 3) opens
