Special Play Functions

Repeat

Pressonceto repeatthe entire disc or track programcontinuously.Presstwice to repeat the currenttrack continuouslyPress.a third time to cancelthis function. Whenselecting the desired Repeatfunction, press the Repeat button once and REPEATwill appear in the CompactDisc Transport Display WindowPress. the Repeatbutton twice and REPEATand SINGLEwill appear in the CompactDisc Transport Display Window.

AJB

Createsa loop betweentwo pre-determined points within a single track or sequential tracks. TocreateanA/Bloop, start the play of a track. Whenyouhearthe part that you wantas the beginningof the loop, pressA/B to insert the start position. PressNBagain to insert the finish position. A/Bwill auto- matically beginandcontinueindefinitely. PressStopor A/B againto delete the A/B program.

Access

Whenanexactstart positionsis critical, use the Accessbutton to numerically select a positionwithin a specific track program:

Track Programming

Trackprogramminggives youthe ability to select the tracks youwantto hear, in the order in whichyouwantto hearthem.This methodof programmingis short term and will be cleared whenyou press the Stop button twice. A maximumof twenty tracks maybe stored in a programsequence.

NOTE:Track Forward,Track Back,Repeat, andPausefunction normallywithin a pro- grammedsequence.

Press onceto accessthe track program- ming mode.

Howto Write a Program

1.Press Programon the KPS25s remote control. PROGRAMwill appear in the Compact Disc Transport Display Window.

2.Keyin the desiredtrack sequenceusing the numerickeypad.Tracksconsisting of two digits must be keyed within eight secondsof eachother. Thenum- ber of tracks andtotal playingtime of the programmedsequencewill appear in the CompactDisc TransportDisplay WindowTrack. numberswill appearin the CompactDisc Transport Display Windowin the order in whichthey are stored within a programmedsequence.

3.PressPlay to beginplaybackof a pro- grammedsequence.

4.Pressthe Stopbutton twice to erasea programmedsequence.

Digital Inputs

TheKPS25s has six digital inputs: CD, AES, OPTICS1, OPTICS2, COAX1, and COAX2. Pressthe appropriate button to selectthe input that supportsyoursource.

Pause

Pressonceto temporarilysuspendsplaying the current track. Pressthe Pauseor Play

button to resumeplaying the track at the point Pausewasengaged.
