MenuFunctions
All initial set u p andsubsequentsystemcon- figuration adjustmentsmaybe madeusing
either the TabletopRemoteController,or the front panelcontrols. Severalmenufeatures
that customizethe KPS25s are described below.
To adjust the brightness of the Menu Display Window:
1.Press the Menubutton. The word MENUwill appearin the MenuDisplay Window.
2.Turn the Level Control Knobuntil the word BRIGHTappears.
3.Pressthe Menubutton again. Thecur- rent brightnesslevel will appearin the MenuDisplay Window.
4.Turnthe LevelControlKnobto the left or right to viewbrightnesslevels. Thedis- play maybe set to mutethe brightness completelyWhen.the brightnesslevel is set to the desiredlevel, pressthe Menu buttononemoretime to lock the setting in place.
5.To exit the Menumodecompletely, pressthe Menubutton again.
To assign customnamesto any of the digital or the analoginputsof the KPS 25s:
4.Turn the Level Control Knobto select the input to whichyouwantto assigna customname.
5.Press the MenubUtton. The word PHONOwill appear.
6.Turn the Level Control Knobto select the desired name.
7.Press the Menubutton to lock the selectednameto the selectedinput.
8.To exit the Menumodecompletely, pressthe menubutton again.
NOTE:Theinput for CDcannotbe renamed.
Toselect an input for Theater
Throughput~:
1.Press the Menubutton. The word MENUwill appear.
2.Turn the Level Control Knobuntil the word THEATERappears.
3.Pressthe Menubutton again. Theword CDwill appear.
4.Turn the Level Control Knobto select theTM. input for TheaterThroughput
5.Pressthe Menubutton againto display the current theater modesetting. Whenthe display reads YES,Theater ThroughputTM is active. Whenthe dis- play readsNO,TheaterThroughputTM is inactive.

2.Turn the Level Control Knobuntil the word NAMEappears.
3.Pressthe Menubutton again. Theword AESEBUwill appear.
6.Turn the Level Control Knobto select the desiredtheater modesetting.
7.Pressthe Menubutton to lock the set- ting in place.
8.To exit the Menumodecompletely, pressthe Menubutton again.
