Warranty

THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTSINSIDE ANYKRELLPRODUCT.

The KPS25s KrelP PlaybackSystemhas a limited andtransferable warrantyof five yearsfor partsandlabor andthree yearson transportrelatedparts. Thewarrantyperiod beginson the date of retail purchase,as notedonthe retail salesslip providedby an authorizedKrell®dealeror distributor, or on the warrantyregistration cardsentto KrelP. In the event adequateproof of purchase dateis unavailable,the warrantyperiodwill beginon the date the unit wasoriginally shippedfromthe factory. Theoriginal ship date can be determinedby KrelP from the serial number.

Thewarrantyfor KrelPproductsis valid only in the countryto whichtheywereoriginally shipped,throughthe authorizedKrelPdis-

tributor for that country,andat thefactory. Theremaybe restrictions on, or changesto Krell's warranty becauseof regulations within a specific country.Pleasecheckwith

yourdistributor for a completeunderstand- ing of the warrantyin yourcountry.

Freightto thefactoryis yourresponsibility. Seconddayreturn freight within the United States(U.S.A.)is includedin the warranty. If you havepurchasedyour KrelP product outsidethe U.S.A.andwishto haveit ser- vicedat the factory, all freight andassoci- atedchargesto the factory areyourrespon- sibility. KrelPwill payreturnfreight to the

U.S.A.-basedfreight forwarder of your choice. Freight andother chargesto ship theunit fromthe freight forwarderto youare alsoyourresponsibility.

Theoperatingvoltageof this unit is deter- mined by the factory and can only be changedby an authorizedKrelPdistributor or at the factory. Thevoltagefor the KPS 25s Krell PlaybackSystemin the U.S.A. cannot be changeduntil six monthsfrom the original purchasedate. Anyunautho- rized voltage conversion, disassembly, componentreplacement, perforation of chassis, updates, or modifications per- formedto the unit wil!void the warranty.

Krell ®is not responsiblefor any damage

incurredin transit. KrelPwill file claimsfor damagesas necessaryfor units damaged in transit to the factory. Youareresponsible to file claimsfor shippingdamagesduring the return shipment.

Theuseof anypackingmaterial other than original is not recommendedKrelP.may,at it's discretion, packa unit in newpacking for the return shipmentand bill you for suchpackingif the unit waspackedin non- standardpackingor the original packaging is so damagedas to be unusable.
