INPUTS ANDOUTPUTS

Balanced.A symmetricalinput circuit that has equal impedancefrom both input terminals with respect to a commonreference point. Balanced connections have 6 dB moregain than single- endedconnections.

Single-ended. An input circuit in which one side of a transmissionline circuit is ungrounded. Single-ended connections have 6 dB less gain than balancedconnections.
