Notes

During auto scan, digital channels will be scanned first, then analog channels. When all available digital channels have been found, the message will ask you “Do you want to continue scanning analog channel?” You can select No, then press ENTER to exit the analog channel scan, or let your TV/Blu-ray combo continue scanning.

You can press MENU or EXIT at any time to stop the auto scan, but you will need to run the auto scan again to create a channel list.

INPUT repeatedly or press or to highlight the jack the box is connected to, then press

ENTER.

Understanding TV basics

Unless otherwise noted, all tasks in this section are based on using the remote control.

Turning your TV/Blu-ray combo on or off

To turn your TV/Blu-ray combo on or off:

1Make sure that you have connected the power cord to your TV/Blu-ray combo and a power outlet.

2Press (power). Your TV/Blu-ray combo turns on and the power indicator on the front of your TV/Blu-ray combo turns blue.

3Press (power) again. Your TV/Blu-ray combo turns off (Standby mode) and the power indicator on the front of your TV/Blu-ray combo turns red.

2Press INPUT repeatedly or press or to highlight a video input source, then press ENTER. You can select:

Warning

When your TV/Blu-ray combo is in Standby mode, power still flows into it. To disconnect power, unplug the power cord.

Note

When your TV/Blu-ray combo does not receive a signal and you do not press any buttons for 15 minutes, your TV/Blu-ray combo goes into Standby mode.
