Getting to know your phone

1Speakerphone button turns the speakerphone on or off.

The loudspeaker is located behind the keypad (item 9).

2	Jack for Hands-free headset (sold separately) only.
3	Volume control button adjusts the volume.
4	Home screen. Press	(item 6) to select Menu.
5	Push to Talk (PTT) button sends or receives a PTT call.
	Hold down the PTT button to speak.
6	OK key selects a menu item or option.
7	Send/Talk key starts or answers a call.
8	Navigation key scrolls through lists and positions cursor.
	Also accesses shortcuts from the home screen.
9	Keypad for entering numbers, letters, or symbols.
10	* Shift key changes the text mode in text entry.
11	Antenna does not extend.
12	Clear key erases the last character in text entry, or
	returns to the previous menu.
13	End/Power key turns the phone on or off, ends a call, or
	returns you to the home screen.

14Jack for AC adapter (included).

15Space # key enters a space during text entry.

160 Next key cycles through word choices during text entry.

Warning: Inserting an accessory into the incorrect jack will damage the phone.
