Troubleshooting GUIDE: ELECTRONIC GAS CONTROL SYSTEM
Note: Before troubleshooting the gas control system, make sure the external gas shutoff valve (located at gas supply inlet) is in the “ON” position.
Important: Valve system troubleshooting should only be performed by a qualified service technician.

1. | Nothing happens when fireplace | A. Remote Control is not functioning | • Check that wall switchplate is set to REMOTE |

| F. Batteries low. | • Check voltage on D.C. terminal of batteries in Remote Control. |
|
|
| The value should be around 3.0V. |

|

| F. Low voltage. | • Test voltage at AC terminals of module for 24 VAC. If no volt- |
|
|
| age, replace module (call a service technician, if required). |
|
|
| • Check electrical connections between module and gas control. |
|
|
| If okay, replace gas control (valve) (call a service technician, |
|
|
| if required). |
