Troubleshooting GUIDE: Power Vent System

Important: Service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or your gas supplier.

BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING THE UNIT:

1.Check whether there is power to the unit (fireplace).

2.Check whether there is gas to the unit (fireplace).

3.The igniter module in the fireplace is equipped with a lockout device that will put the unit into a lockout condition. Follow the steps in the chart below to reset the control: Turn the Wall Receiver Switch to the OFF position, or turn the Remote Control Transmitter OFF.

4.If this is the first time the unit has been fired, check the unit wiring against the wiring diagram before performing any troubleshooting.
