5.Right-click the Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter and select Properties.

6.Click the Advanced tab.

7.Select Extended Channel Mode and set the value to Enable.

Note: The above applies only to systems with the 802.11b wireless function that support Extended Channel Mode.
