bottomofthekeyboard.Tomovethepointer5onthescreen,youapplypressuretothenonslipcaponthe
pointingstickinanydirectionparalleltothekeyboar d;thepointingstickitselfdoesnotmove.Thespeedat
whichthepointermovesdependsonthepressureyouapplytothepointingstick.Thefunctionsoftheleft4
andright2clickbuttonscorrespondtothoseoftheleftandrightmousebuttonsonaconventionalmouse.
TheTr ackPointcenterbutton3,calledthescrollbar,enablesyoutoscrollWebpagesordocumentsinany
directionwithnoneedtousethegraphicscrollbarsonthesideofthewindow.
IfyouarenotfamiliarwiththeTr ackPoint,theseinstructionswillhelpyougetstarted:
1.Placeyourhandsinthetypingposition,andpressgentlywitheitherindexngeronthepointingstickin
thedirectioninwhichyouwantthepointertomove.
Tomovethepointer,pressthepointingstickawayfromyout omoveitup,towardyoutomoveit
down,toonesideortheothertomoveitsideways.
Note:Thepointermightdrift.Thisisnotadefect.StopusingtheTrackP ointforafewseconds;the
pointerwillstopmoving.
2.T oselectanddrag,presstheleftorrightclickbuttonwitheitherthumbandmovetheTr ackPoint
pointingstick.
