UsingwirelessWANconnections
WirelessWideAreaNetwork(wirelessWAN)enablesyoutoestablishwirelessconnectionsoverremote
publicorprivatenetworks.Theseconnectionscanbemaintainedoveralargegeographicalarea,suchas
acityoranentirecountry,byuseofmultipleantennasitesorsatellitesystemsmaintainedbywireless
serviceproviders.
SomeThinkPadNotebookscomewithabuilt-inwirelessWANcardintegratingsomewirelessWAN
technologies,suchas1xEV-DO,HSPA,3GorGPRS.YoucanconnecttotheInternetoryourcompany
networkwiththebuilt-inwirelessWANcardandthecongurationutilitytomakeawirelessWANconnection
andmonitoritsstatus.

disabletheBluetoothfeatureswithasingleclick.
