•Wheninstallinganoper atingsystem,youmustinstallthedisplaydriverforyourmonitorthatissupplied

withthecomputer,andtheMonitorINFlethatissuppliedwiththeext ernalmonitor.

•Ifyousetaresolutionhigherthantheresolutionyouareusingonthepanel,anduseapanelthatdoesnot

supportthatresolution,takeadvantageofthevirtualscreenfunction,whichenablesyoutodisplayonlya

partofthehigh-resolutionscreenimageyourcomputerproduces.Youcanseeotherpartsoftheimage

bymovingthescreenwiththeTrackPointorotherpointingdevice.

•Iftheexternalmonitoryouareusingisoutdated,theresolutionandtherefreshratemightbelimited.

Win+Pkeycombinationisavailableforswitchingdisplayoutputtoaconnectedprojector.

PresentationDirectorprovidesaneasywaytosetupyourcomputertohelpyougivepresentationswith

condence,evenwhenyouareawayfromyourofce.

UsePresentationDirectortoadjustresolutionsettingsandtemporarilydisablepowermanagementtimersto

ensureanuninterruptedpresentation.

PresentationDirectorhassomepredenedpresentationschemes.Toapplyapresentationscheme,you

canuseFn+F7.

TostartPresentationDirector,clickStart➙AllPrograms➙ThinkVantage➙PresentationDirector,and

followtheinstructionsonthescreen.

Todisplayinformationandmakepresentations,youcanattachadataprojectortoyourcomputer.Attachthe

dataprojectortothemonitorconnectoronyourcomputer.

Note:Itmighttakesever alsecondsbeforetheprojectordisplaystheimage.Ifyoudonotseeyourdesktop

displayedafter60seconds,trypressingFn+F7toswitchbetweendifferentdisplayoutputlocations.

Yourprojectormighthaveoneormoreaudio-inputconnectors.Toprojectsound,youwillneedtoattachthe

comboaudiojackonyourcomputertotheseconnectors,usinganaudiocable(commerciallyavailable).

Usingacolorprole

ThedisplayprovidesacolorprolethatcanworkwiththeMicrosoftImageColorManagement(ICM)

function.IfthegraphicssoftwareyouareusingiscompatiblewithICM,youcandisplayacolorimageon

yourmonitorandmatchit,withthesamequality,onanotherdevice,suchasascanneroraprinter .
