Try one or more of the following:
The printer discards any data received through the parallel port. Press to clear the message and continue
printing.
Make sure the Parallel Buffer menu item is not set to Disabled.
58 Too many flash options installed
Try one or more of the following:
Turn the printer off, and then remove extra flash options:
1Turn the printer off.
2Unplug the power cord from the wa ll outlet.
3Remove the excess flash memory.
4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.
5Turn the printer back on.
Press to clear the message and continue printing.
58 Too many trays attached
1Turn the printer off.
2Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Note: Optional trays lock together when stacked. Rem ove stacked trays one at a time from the top down.
3Remove the additional tray(s).
4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.
5Turn the printer back on.
59 Incompatible tray <x>
Only options designed specificall y for this printer are sup ported.
Try one or more of the following:
Remove the specified tray.
Press the arrow buttons until Continue appears, and then press to clear the message and continue printing
without using the specified tray.
84 PC Kit life warning
The photoconductor kit is near exhaustion .
Try one or more of the following:
Press to clear the message and continue printing.
Order a replacement photoconductor kit immediately. When print quality is reduced, install the new
photoconductor kit.
