136 Section 3B: SprintPCS Vision

Note: If NetGuard is enabled and displayed (see below), press OK(right
softkey) to continue and access the Web.
While connecting, the following will appear on the screen:
Vision Connecting...
If you had a previous SprintPCS Vision connection, the last
page you visited will be displayed when you launch your
browser. When this occurs, you may notsee the
“Connecting...”message when you launch the session.
Though the browser is open, you are notcurrently in an active
data session– thatis, no data is being sentor received. As soon
as you navigate to another page, the active session will open
and you will see the “Connecting...”message.
NetGuardWhen you firstconnect to the Web, the NetGuard will appear
to confirm thatyou wantto connect. This feature helps you
avoid accidental connections. You can disable the NetGuard
in the future by selecting Always Auto-Connectwhen the Net
Guard is displayed.
To change your NetGuard settings:
䊳SelectMenu > Settings > PCS Vision > NetGuard and
choose an option:
䡲On to activate the NetGuard.
䡲Offto deactivate the NetGuard.
Note: When enabled, the NetGuard appears only once per session. The Net
Guard does notappear if the phone is merely reconnecting due to a time-out.
