58 Section 2B: Controlling Your Phone’s Settings

Auto Answer Mode

You may setyour phone to automatically pick up incoming

calls when connected to an optional hands-free car kitor

headset.

To setAuto Answer mode:

1. SelectMenu > Settings > Setup/Others > Auto-Answer.

2. To selectan option, highlightit and press .

䡲Offto disable Auto Answer.

䡲Headsetto answer calls automatically when the

phone is connected to a hands-free car kitor a

headset(sold separately). Remember, your phone

will answer calls in Auto Answer mode even if you

are notpresent.

Dialing Match

Your dialing match options allow you to enable or disable

Abbreviated Dialing (page 33) and Speed Dialing (page 34).

To setyour dialing match options:

1. SelectMenu > Settings > Setup/Others > Dialing Match.

2. SelectAbbreviated Dialing, Contacts Match, or Speed Dial

and press .

3. SelectEnable or Disableand press .

4. (Abbreviated Dialing only) If you enable Abbreviated

Dialing, enter a five- or six-digitnumber (for example,

area code and prefix) and press .
