Automatic preset storage
To automatically scan for all available stations and store them as presets:
•Select the band you wish to store presets from.
•Press STORE on the handset.
•Press and hold STORE until the progress bar in the bottom right of the display is filled and AUTO STORING is shown.
As each station is found there is a five second pause before it is stored.
To store a station as a preset and skip the five second pause:
• Press .
To not store a station as a preset and skip the five second pause:
• Press .
Scanning will stop automatically when the tuner has finished searching the chosen band.
Notes:
Automatic preset storage must be carried out separately for each band.
You are able to give a preset a different name if you prefer (see Manual preset storage/Renaming stations, page 16).
If the name of a station is displayed on the front panel (see About RDS, page 9), the preset is stored using the station’s name. For stations which do not broadcast their name, presets are automatically named by radio band and frequency (e.g. FM 99.50).
Stations that are already saved as presets will be skipped.
