8.15 Noise Reduction

Reduces the noise of the playback picture.

1.During playback, press [MODE] to display the play menu.

2.Use [Î/ ï] to select “Noise Reduction”, then press [OK].

3.Use [Î/ ï] to select your desired setting.

e.g.) Blu-ray Disc™

Noise Reduction

Off

“On”

:Activates noise reduction.

“Off”

: Deactivates noise reduction.

4. Press [RETURN] to exit.

• The setting will remain the same even if the unit is switched to standby mode.

8.16 Play from Portable Media Player

Simply connect your portable media player (e.g. MP3 player) to this unit to enjoy superior sound quality from your music collections.

1.Connect your portable media player to the MP3 LINE-IN jack on this unit.

•Refer to “Connecting Portable Media Player” on page 15.

2.Turn on your portable media player.

3.Press [SOURCE] repeatedly to select “MP3 Line-in”.

4.Start playing music on your portable media player.

•Control playback is only possible on the portable media player.

•Stop playback on the portable media player before you switch to another source mode.
