SETTING UP FOR ON DEMAND TV (continued)
If your broadband modem/router is not compatible with DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), you will need to set the addresses manually. Use the or buttons to change the configuration to “static” and for each of the addresses in turn (IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router Address, and DNS Address) press
to highlight the address and then enter the 12 figures to set that address.
When you have set the four addresses, press to return to the System menu.
HINT: Consult the manual or supplier for your modem/ router or network for help choosing the correct addresses.
WATCHING ON DEMAND TV
You can switch to On Demand TV either through the interactive services on a channel providing On Demand TV, or through an online channel chosen by number or using the channel list or programme guide.
HINT: The On Demand TV channels are numbered from 900 and are in the On Demand section of the programme guide
When you switch to an On Demand TV channel, it may take a few seconds longer to show the picture than a Freesat satellite channel. You will then need to progress through a series of menus, using the number buttons, the coloured buttons,,
,
and , and the
button, to find and start the programme you want to watch. You go through these menus in a different way depending on the online broadcaster.
