Press SETUP in the stop or playback mode.
The SETUP menu is displayed.
Press DD/EEto select the desired item.
The screen will show the current setting for the
selected item, and the alternate setting(s).

• Disc Menu (see page 31)
• Rating (see page 32)
• Password (see page 33)
• TV Aspect (see page 34)
• Menu Language (see page 35)
• TV Output Select (see page 35)
• Digital Audio Output (see page 36)
Press GGand then DD/EE to select the desired
setting and press SELECT/ENTER.
• Some items require additional steps. (See the
respective page.)
When the alternate setting is selected the screen returns to
the Initial Settings display.
To exit SETUPmenu
Press SETUP, RETURN or PLAY.
Once the initial settings have been completed,
the player can always be operated under the
same conditions (especially with DVD discs).
The settings will be retained in the memory until
they are changed, even if the power is switched
off.
