With a prerecorded video cassette tape inserted, enter the VCR mode and the Setup screen as described on page 24; the Setup menu will appear. Scroll to Search using the Navigation ( ) button . Press the OK button to select it;
the Search will† appear.12

Press the Navigation ( ) button to select Go To Zero Search, then press the†OK button1 ; the VCR will then search until the counter reads “0:00:00”2 . When it reaches "0:00:00", playback will start automatically.

Enter the desired counter number to go to using the Number buttons . (Enter the hour for the first digit, then enter the minute1for the second and third digit; i.e., to search and playback starting from 1 hour and 10 minutes, enter "1","1","0".) Then press the OK button ; the VCR will then search and start playback when the counter2 position is reached.
