Filling the coffee bean container
If you want to use freshly ground coffee beans for each cup of espresso or coffee, fill the coffee bean container with roasted coffee beans.
Alternatively, you can make coffee or espresso with ready ground coffee (see "Preparing coffee or espresso using ready ground coffee").
Warning. Only put roasted coffee beans in the container.
Anything else, including ground coffee, will damage the grinder.
Warning. Do not use coffee beans that have been treated with sugar, caramel, or other substances and do not put drinks containing sugar in the coffee bean container. Sugar will damage the machine.
