This creates a shadow which gives the illu‐ sion of a gap between the ceiling and the chimney. This is useful if the ceiling is not level or is uneven. The hood is aligned vertically with the spacers sup‐ plied. Visual irregularities between the chimney and the ceiling are then con‐ cealed by the shadow InstallationHang the installation frame on the four screws.
