Water softener
If your water is in class II or III, you can add a water softener to help cut down on the use of detergent. Consult the package for dosing. First add the detergent, then add the water softener.
In this case, you can dose the detergent as you would for class I.
Washing with several components
If you are using several different products in the wash (e.g., special application detergents), Miele recommends loading the products in the following order into compartment :
1.Detergent
2.Water softener
3.Stain remover
This will help the products flow smoothly into the wash drum.
