DTMF

Your phone can send a number to the

 

network as dual tone multi-frequency

 

(DTMF) tones. DTMF tones are used to

 

communicate with automated systems

 

that require you to enter a number

 

such as a code, password, or credit

 

card number. Use this option to set

 

DTMF tones to be long, short, or off.

Master Reset

Reset all options back to their original

 

factory settings except for the unlock

 

code, security code, and lifetime timer.

Master Clear

Reset all options back to their original

 

factory settings except for the unlock

 

code, security code, and lifetime timer,

 

and clear all user settings and entries

 

except for information on the SIM

 

card.

 

Note: This option erases all

 

user-entered information stored in

 

your phone’s memory, including

 

phonebook and datebook entries.

 

Once you erase the information, it

 

cannot be recovered.
