3Por Q to the required alias or ID and press N to select.

OR

Por Q to Manual Dial and press N to select. Key in the subscriber alias or ID and press N.

4The display shows Sending to: <Subscriber/Group Alias or ID>, confirming your message is being sent.

5If the message is sent, a tone sounds and the display shows Message Sent.

OR

If the message is not sent, a low tone sounds and the display shows Message Send Failed.

If the text message fails to send, it is moved to the Sent Items folder and marked with a Send Failed icon.

Managing Fail-to-Send Text Messages

if the message fails to send, the radio returns you to the Resend option screen.

Forwarding a Text Message by Manual Dial

Select Forward to send the message to another subscriber/ group alias or ID.

Procedure:

1Por Q to Forward and press N to select.

2Por Q to Manual Dial and press N to select. Key in the subscriber ID and press N.

3The display shows Text Message: <Subscriber/Group Alias or ID>, confirming your message is being sent.

4If the message is sent, a tone sounds and the display shows Message Sent.

OR

If the message is not sent, a low tone sounds and the display shows Message Send Failed.
