I cannot make/
answer calls.
Make sure that you have a phone
signal (see the “Signal Strength
Indicator” item on page25). Avoid
electrical or radio interference, and
obstructions such as bridges, car
parks, or tall buildings.
Your phone also may have the
CallBarring feature turned on. If you
know the unlock code, you can
change this setting in the security
menu
(M > Settings > Security). Also, check to
be sure your SIM card is installed and
working.
My phone has poor
reception and
drops calls.
Make sure you have a phone signal

item on 25). Stay clear of any
obstructions such as bridges, car
parks, or tall buildings.
I cannot hear
others on my
phone.
While on a call, press S. Your
phone display should show the
volume increasing.
Also, make sure that your phone’s
earpiece is not blocked by its carrying
case.
I cannot open my
inbox.
Before you can use text or
information services messages, you
must set up the appropriate inbox.
