Learning to Use Your Phone - 25
The following status indicators can appear:
➊ Signal Strength Indicator Indicates the strength of your
phone’s connection with the network.
You cannot make or answer calls when the “no signal” indicator
appears.
➋ In Use Indicator Indicates when a call is in progress (U).
➌ GPRS Indicator Indicates that your phone is using
a high-speed GPRS network connection (D). GPRS
allows faster data transfer speeds. The indicator does
not mean that you are in a call; only that you are
registered on the network with a GPRS connection.
➍ Roam Indicator Appears when your phone uses
another network system outside your home network
(;). When you leave your home network area, your
phone roams or seeks another network.
➎ Active Line Indicator Shows the current active phone line. To
change the active line, see page46.
