Call Waiting
Call Waiting lets you receiv e a second call while on
an active call. Call Wa iting is always availabl e,
unless you turn it off for a sp ecific call.
If you are on a call and receive a second call, your
phone emits a tone and displays a messag e saying
you are receiving a second call.
To accept the second call and pu t th e act ive cal l on
hold:
Press A under Yes.
To accept the second call and end the active call:
1Press e.
Your phone rings with the second call.
2Answer the second ca ll.
To decline the second call:
Press A under No. If you subscribe to v oice
mail, the call is forwarded to your voice mail box,
unless you set Call Forward for If Busy to a
different number.
Switching Between Calls
When you accept a second call, the display shows
the name or number of each call, with an icon
indicating which call is a ctive:
To make the call on hold activ e and put the active
call on hold:
Press A under Switch.
Turn Off Call Waiting
To turn off Call Waiting dur ing a call:
1Press m.
2Select In Call Setup > Call Waiting.
3Press A under Change.
4Scroll to Off.
Tip:To turn Call Waiti ng back on while still on
the call: Scroll to On.
5Press A under Select.
YPhone call is active.
ZPhone call is on hold.
