Using Walkie-Talkie Send

Walkie-Talkie Send lets you exchange My Info and

contact information with other phones that have

this capability. You do this through BoostTM

walkie-talkie cal ls.

Sending My Info and Contact

Information

When you send My Info or conta ct information

using Walkie-Talkie Send, the information you sent

appears on the display of the phone you are

engaged in the BoostTM walkie-talkie call with. After

the call, the information appears on the recent call

list of that phone.

Sending My Info

You can control w hat portion of the i nformation in

My Info is sent an d whether it is sent au tomatically

in every BoostTM walkie-talkie call or only whe n you

choose to send it. See “Setting Sending Options”

on page 91.

Tip:W hen you send My Info, certain

information, such as yo ur email address or

fax number, cannot be included. To send

complete contact informa tion, create an

entry for yourself in Con tacts and send.

1While in a BoostTM walkie-talkie, press m.

2With WT Send My Info highlighted, press O.

3When Ready to Send ap pears on the display,

press the BoostTM walkie-talkie button to send

the information.

Starting a Call by Sending Inform ation

1From the main menu, sele ct My Info.

2Press m.

3With WT Send My Info highlighted, press O.

4Use the keypad to e nter the BoostTM

walkie-talkie number you want to send the

information to. -or-

Press A under Browse. Select Cont acts,

Recent Calls, or Memo. Select the number you

want to enter.

5When Ready to Send ap pears on the display,

press the BoostTM walkie-talkie button to send

the information.

You can send contact information by selecting a

Contacts entry or an item from the recent calls list.
