Putting a Call on Hold

1While on an active call, press m.
2Select Hold.
If you want to make the call active again, press A
under Resume.

Creating Pauses and Waits

While Dialing

You can enter a pa use or wait while d ialing a
number. For more information on pauses and
waits, see “Creating Pauses and Waits” on page
37.
To create a pause while dialing a phone number:
1From the keypad, enter the dig its you want to
occur before the pause.
2Press m.
3Select Insert Pause.
4Enter the digits you want to occur after the
pause.
To create a wait while dialing a phone number:
1From the keypad, enter the di gits you want to
occur before the wait.
2Press m.
3Select Insert Wait.
4Enter the digits you want to occur after the wait.

Making International Calls

Your service defa ult is “International Calls
Restricted.” Contact BoostTM Customer Care to
obtain international dialing access.
Calls placed between the United States and
Canada do not require an international access
code.
Plus Dialing lets you place an internatio nal call to
most countries without e ntering the local
international access code.
1Press and hold 0 for two seconds. A “0”
appears, then changes to a “+”.
Note:T he network translat es the “+” into the
appropriate intern ational access code
needed to place th e call.
2Enter the country code, city code or area code,
and phone number.
