Creating and Sending Messages
Inserting Pictures, Ring Tones, and Voice Records
When you are filli ng in the Mesg field, you can
insert pictures, ring tones, and voice records into
the body of the mes sage.
You can insert mor e than one of these ob jects into
a message. You may include text in the body of
your message in ad dition to these ob jects.
Note:For information on how objects inserted
into the body of a message appear when
a message is received, see “Embedded
Objects and Attachments” on page 69.
Pictures
You can insert pictures from My Pictures.
Pictures that you downl oad to your phone or
receive in a message may be forward locked,
meaning they cannot be included in a message.
1While you are filling in the Mesg field, press m.
2Select Insert Picture.
A list of pictures that can be included in a
message appears.
3Select the picture you want to insert.
Ring Tones
You can insert ringtones from your list of ringtones.
When you receive your phone, all musical
ringtones in the l ist of ringtones ca n be included in
a message. However, some ringtones you
download to your phone may not be in the required
format to be included in a message.
Ringtones that you download to your phone or
receive in a message may be forward locked,
meaning they cann ot be included in a message.
The non-musical ringtones in the list of ringtones
when you receive your phone cannot be included
in a message.
1While you are filli ng in the Mesg field, press m.
2Select Insert Ring Tone.
A list of ringtone s that can be includ ed in a
message appears.
3Select the ringtone you wan t to insert.
Tip:To hear a ringtone before in serting it,
highlight the ringtone.
Voice Reco rds
You can insert voic e records from your l ist of voice
records.
Voice records created by recording a phone call
cannot be including in a message.
