Antenna

You also have the option of setting your phone to
automatically lock the keypad if there has been no
activity for a specified time.
1From the main menu, sele ct Settings >
Security > Keypad Lo ck.
2To lock the keypad immediately, select Lock
Now. You will be given the option to press m and
* to lock and unlock the keypad.
3To set a specific time for the keypad to lock if
there has been no activity, select Auto Lock and
then select a time.
The keypad can be set to lock in 5, 10, 15 or 20
minutes if the keypad is not touched during the
specified time. To turn t he auto lock off, repeat
step 3 and select Off.
Antenna
The retractable antenna on your phone is designed
to be extended du ring calls and is es sential to
attain the hearing aid compatibility ra ting on
applicable models.
To extend the antenna, pull gently on the rounded
tip until the antenna is fully extended and click s into
position.
When finished with a cal l, retract the antenna by
pushing gently on the rounded tip until the antenna
clicks into place.
To optimize your p hone's performance, extend the
antenna when you make or receive a call, and
avoid touching the antenna with any body part.
Important: Failure to fully extend or retract the
antenna until the antenna clicks into
place causes severely degraded
performance, which may result in
missed calls, dropped calls, or garbled
audio.
