Bluetooth Problems

Unable to connect to another Bluetooth-enabled device.

Make sure both devices are Bluetooth activated.

Make sure the distance between the two devices is not over 10 meters or that there are no walls or other obstructions between the devices.

Make sure the other device is not in “Hidden” mode.

Make sure both devices are compatible (i.e., support the same profile).

Unable to end/terminate a BluetoothTM connection.

If another device is connected to your computer, you can either end the connection using another device or by deactivating BluetoothTM.

ODD Drive Problems

The ODD drive cannot read a disk.

Make sure the disk is correctly seated in the tray with the label facing up.

Make sure the disk is not dirty. Clean the disk with a disk cleaning kit, available in most computer stores.

Make sure the computer supports the disk or the files contained.

Unable to eject a disk.

The disk is not properly seated in the drive. Manually release the disk following the method described next:

1.Turn off the computer.

2.Insert a small rod, such as a straightened paperclip, into the drive’s manual-eject hole and push firmly to release the tray.

3.Pull the tray out until fully extended and then remove the disk.
