The following indicators identify Numeric or Symbol entry mode:

non-text entry mode

Ãnumeric mode

Äsymbol mode

capitalization

Press 0in any text entry screen to change text case.

tap method

This is the standard method for entering text on your phone.

Regular Tap method cycles through the letters and numbers of the key you press. The Tap Extended method cycles through letters, numbers, and symbols. If Tap or Tap Extended is not available as the Primary or Secondary entry mode, see page 21.
