Mixing/Dumping

1.The paddle shaft inside the drum should be rotating at this time.

2.Add a small amount water to the mixing drum.

3.Lift the mixing bag compound onto the steel safety grate over the bag cutter and let the contents fall into the drum. Add more water if desired and mix compound to desired consistency.

4.When charging, mixing, or dumping a batch of plaster or mortar the drum lock pin should be placed to the left (when viewing the mixer from the towpole end) of the drum stop block which is welded to the front side of the drum. See Figure 19.

This will allow the operator to use both hands on the drum handle during dumping. Please note that when the lock pin is placed to the left, the drum will be maintained in the vertical position as the paddles rotate. To discharge the material the operator should hold the dump handle with both hands and rotate the drum to discharge the desired amount of material.

WARNING

Be sure to stand clear of the dump handle (Figure 20) when the mixer is operational. Any binding of material between the mixer blades and the drum will cause the dump handle to quickly move and could cause bodily harm.

STAND CLEAR OF DUMP HANDLE.

HANDLE KICK-BACK IS POSSIBLE.

Stopping the Mixer

1.Place the belt slip lever in the start/stop position (Figure 14).

2.Push the main start/stop switch (Figure 13) inward to stop the engine.

3.Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the OFF position.

4.Disconnect the spark plug.

5.Clean mixer as referenced in the maintance section of this manual.

NOTICE

It is recommended that the mixer’s Start/Stop switch be used to stop the engine after every use. Doing this will verify that the switch is working properly and presents no danger to the operator.

DANGER

NEVER disable or disconnect the start/stop switch. It is provided for operator safety. Serious Injury may result if it is disabled, disconnected or improperly maintained.

WM70SH8C, WM70SH5C specifications

The Multiquip WM70SH5C and WM70SH8C are cutting-edge water pump models designed for construction and industrial applications. These robust machines are specifically engineered to handle a variety of heavy-duty pumping tasks, making them an essential asset for contractors and industrial operators alike.

The WM70SH5C model is powered by a reliable 5.5 HP Honda engine, while the WM70SH8C variant features an 8 HP Honda engine, providing additional power for demanding applications. Both models are equipped with a high-performance centrifugal pump, ensuring efficient water transfer and quick operation. They are capable of moving large volumes of water, making them suitable for dewatering, irrigation, and other water management tasks.

One of the standout features of the WM70SH series is their impressive maximum flow rate. The pumps can deliver up to 2,000 gallons per minute, significantly reducing the time required for water removal in flooded areas or construction sites. This efficiency is crucial in maintaining project timelines and ensuring safety in work environments.

Durability is another key characteristic of these models. The WM70SH5C and WM70SH8C are built with heavy-duty materials, including a cast iron pump housing and aluminum alloy components, which resist corrosion and ensure a long operational lifespan. Additionally, their rugged construction allows them to withstand harsh working conditions, making them reliable even in the toughest environments.

Ease of use and maintenance is also a priority in the design of these pumps. The WM70SH series features an easy-access maintenance panel that simplifies routine checks and service procedures. The equipped oil alert system helps prevent engine damage by shutting down the engine if the oil level is too low, providing peace of mind for operators.

Both models are designed for portability, with integrated handles and a lightweight frame that facilitate easy transportation. This mobility makes the WM70SH series ideal for contractors who need to move equipment frequently from one job site to another.

In summary, the Multiquip WM70SH5C and WM70SH8C water pumps stand out in the market for their powerful performance, robust construction, and ease of use. They are designed to deliver efficiency, reliability, and durability, making them an excellent choice for any water pumping requirements in construction and industrial applications. With features catering to the demands of heavy-duty tasks, these pumps enhance productivity while ensuring operational safety.
