Connecting Signals
This chapter describes how to make input and output signal connections to
the NI PCI-6110/6111 through the device I/O connector. Table4-1 shows
the cables that can be used with the I/O connectors to connect to different
accessories.

I/O Connector

Figure4-1 shows the pin assignments for the 68-pin I/O connector on the
NI PCI-6110/6111. A signal description follows the connector pinouts.
Figure4-2 shows the pin assignments for the NI PCI-6110/6111 when used
with a 50-pin accessory.
Caution Connections that exceed any of the maximum ratings of input or output signals
on the NI PCI-6110/6111 can damage the device and the computer. Maximum input ratings
for each signal are given in the Protection column of Table4-3. NI is not liable for
anydamage resulting from such signal connections.
