Installing the Power Mon II Software
The Power Mon II software is provided on CD-ROM and may be
installed over a network or using an integra t ed or para llel C D-ROM
drive. All operating system versions of the Power Mon software a n d
installation documentation are contained on the CD.
The Power Mon installation should auto start . If it does n’ t , brows e the
CD for the operating system you are using and run Setup.exe for that
operating system. Follow the prompts t o ins t a ll the soft wa re.
Note: When you are prompted for Configuration Code, enter 7 to
identify the interface cable type.
Configuring the Po wer Mon II Software
Once Power Mon is installed, configure the software by click ing on the
Power Mon icon. Select “Configure UPS” to configu re the UPS
parameters such as voice messages and battery run time.
Note: Battery run time for the 4055 UPS running with a 7401 and a
K580/K590 Self Service Printer at a load of 150 VA is approximately:
