Migration

Retail Applications

• Existing TAPS-based applications are not supported. These
applications must be migrated to Windows NT.
• Existing Windows 3.11-based NICE applications are not supported.
These applications must be migrated to Windows NT.
• Existing OPOS-based applications can be supported o n term inals
running Windows NT.
• Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XPe are the only
supported operating systems.

Retail Peripherals

Since the system is a dedicated platform with limited expansion
capability, a limited subset of the retail p erip herals is supported. No
support is provided for the following peripheral types:
• OCIA Peripherals
• RS-485 Peripherals
• Wedge Keyboard
• Operator Line Display
