3.By default, most routers (and all NETGEAR routers) include an active DHCP server. If this is the case for your router, select the Off radio button to disable the DHCP server in the modem router.

4.If you changed the LAN IP address or DHCP server setting (Table 4-1explains the fields and buttons on the LAN IP Setup screen), click Apply to make the new settings take effect.

Note: If you change the LAN IP address, you will lose your connection to the modem router. You must type the new IP address into your browser address field to log in to the modem router.
