The front panel of the RP614v4 router contains the status lights described below.

You can use the status lights to verify connections. Viewed from left to right, the table below describes the lights on the front panel of the router.
Table 1-1. Status Light Descriptions

1. | Power | On Green Solid | Power is supplied to the router. |

| Off | Power is not supplied to the router. |
|
|
|

2. | Test | On | The router is initializing or in the middle of a firmware upgrade. |
|
| Off | The router is ready and running. |
|

3. Internet | The Ethernet cable is connected but the router has not acquired an | ||
|
|
| Internet address. |
|
| The router has an Internet address. | |
|
| Data is being transmitted or received by the Internet port. | |
4. | LAN | The LAN (local area network) port is connected to a 100 Mbps device. | |
|
| Data is being transmitted or received at 100 Mbps. | |
|
| The Local port has detected link with a 10 Mbps device. | |
|
| Data is being transmitted or received at 10 Mbps. | |
|
| Off | No link is detected on this port. |
