3Check the view in the monitor.

To magnify the view in the monitor and check focus, press the Xbutton.

Press Xto zoom in up to a maximum of 6.7 ×, or press Wto zoom out. While the view through the lens is zoomed in, a navigation window will appear in a gray frame at the bottom right corner of the display. Use the multi selector to scroll to areas of the frame not visible in the monitor. Press the Jbutton to start recording (pg. 50).

AMonitor Brightness

Monitor brightness can be adjusted by pressing the Kbutton while the view through the monitor is displayed. Press 1 or 3 to adjust brightness (note that monitor brightness has no effect on pictures taken in live view mode). To return to live view, release the Kbutton.
