Editing Movies

When editing movies, use a sufficiently charged battery to prevent the camera from turning off during editing. When the battery level indicator is B, movie editing is not possible.

B Restrictions on Movie Editing

Movies recorded with n1080/60i or q1080/50i, or piFrame 720/30p or piFrame 720/25p cannot be edited.

Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie

The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file.

1Play back the desired movie and pause at the start point of the portion that is to be extracted (A90).

•Use JKor rotate the command dial to move the end point.

•To preview the specified portion, use HIto select Fand then press the kbutton. Press the kbutton again to stop previewing.
