Restrictions on BSS

BSS may not produce the desired results with a moving subject or if the composition is changed while the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down. BSS can not be used with the self timer ( 41–42), Continuous ( 88) settings other than Single, autoexposure or white-balance bracketing ( 107), or noise reduction ( 109). Im- age-quality settings of RAW and HI are not available with exposure BSS.

At settings other than Off, the current BSS setting is indicated by an icon in the shooting display.
