The following options are available for Auto-focus mode (see page 101 for information on the autofocus options available for still pictures):

Option	Description
Single AF	Camera focuses when shutter-release button is pressed halfway. Fo-
	cus locks when focus operation is complete.
Continuous AF	Camera adjusts focus continuously.

Movies

To choose a focus option, highlight Auto-focus mode in the MOVIE menu ( 59) and press the multi selector to the right. The menu shown in Step 1 will be displayed.

Highlight desired focus mode.	Select and exit to MOVIE menu.

Autofocus Mode

Select Single AF if the sound of the camera focusing interferes with recording.

Selecting a Movie Mode

To select a movie mode without leaving shooting mode, press

the FUNC button and rotate the command dial.
