Description

If voice memo has not been recorded for high- lighted photo, voice memo will be recorded while button is pressed ( 138). If voice memo has been recorded for highlighted image, pressing button will start playback. Press again to pause playback ( 142).

Images marked by icon can not be deleted using button or Delete option in playback menu (note that protected images will be delet- ed when memory card is formatted). To protect image, or to remove protection from protected image, press button ( 135).

Press button to display camera menus ( 39).

To end playback and return to shooting mode, press button or press shutter-release button halfway.

Using the Multi Selector

The multi selector can be used at any time when the monitor is on. The focus selector lock switch only takes effect when the monitor is off.

When On is selected for Image review in the playback menu, photographs are auto- matically displayed in the monitor as they are being recorded to the memory card. In single-frame and self-timer modes, photographs are displayed one at a time as they are taken. In continuous shooting mode, display begins when shooting ends. Thumbnail playback is only available in continuous shooting mode.

c5—Monitor Off ( 185)

The monitor will turn off automatically to save power if no operations are performed for the time specified in Custom Setting c5 (Monitor off). Press the button again to return to playback mode.
