Taking Photographs—Interval Timer Photography

Pausing Interval Timer Photography

To pause interval timer photography:

1 Press the multi selector left or right to high- light Start at the bottom of the interval timer menu.

2 Press the multi selector up or down to select Pause and press thebutton.

Interval time photography can also be paused by:

Pressing thebutton between intervals.

Turning the camera off (if desired, the memory card can be replaced while the camera is off).

Interval timer photography will be paused when the camera is turned on.

When shooting is paused, the start time will be reset to Now. A new starting time can be selected as described in Step 2 of “Interval Timer Photography” (115). The interval, number of intervals, and number of shots can not be changed. If interval timer photography is paused during shooting, any shots remaining in the current interval will be cancelled.

1 Press the multi selector left or right to highlight Start at the bottom of the interval timer menu (see above).

2 Press the multi selector up or down to select Resume and press the button.

No Photograph

Photographs will not be taken if the self-timer is in operation or the previous photo- graph has yet to be taken, the memory buffer or memory card is full, or the camera is unable to focus in single-servo AF (note that the camera focuses again before each shot).
