Movie Settings

Use the Movie settings option in the shooting menu to adjust the following settings.

Frame size/frame rate, Movie quality: Choose from the following options. The frame rate depends on the option currently selected for Video mode in the setup menu (0 136):

Microphone: Turn the built-in or optional ME-1 stereo microphones (0 91, 177) on or off or adjust microphone sensitivity. Choose Auto sensitivity to adjust sensitivity automatically, Microphone off to turn sound recording off; to select microphone sensitivity manually, select Manual sensitivity and choose a sensitivity.

AHDMI and Other Video Devices

When the camera is connected to a video device, the device will display the indicators shown at right. The camera monitor does not show the sound level, and the Rcan not be used to hide or display indicators in the monitor or on the video device. If the device supports HDMI-CEC, select Off for the HDMI > Device control option in the setup menu (0 124) before shooting in live view.
